Living In the Suddenly!
Have you ever had a goal that seemed as if you would never make it? A dream that you never thought would happen? Sometimes we get the unexpected and that which we thought would never happen – does in fact happen! What do we do then? There’s only one thing to do – Live Your Suddenly!
Over and over again in scripture we find the phrase, “and suddenly” Of all the suddenlies, perhaps my favorite is:
Acts 16:26
And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.
There is nothing like God coming through – suddenly – when you’re all bound up – tied up – tangled up – with no way out! When that deliverance comes – heaven truly has come down, and glory fills our soul.
I heard a message from Pastor Jack Hayford once on “Suddenly” – I lived on the promise of that message for many years. And lo and behold one day I had a “suddenly” – and then a couple of years later I had another “suddenly” – and soon I began to realize that one of the ways God would deal with me, was through “suddenly” experiences.
What do I mean by that? It means that I would feel something stirring in my heart, that at the time seemed impossible, and then I would find a Word which confirmed the possibility of that impossible thing becoming possible -and finally I would wait- wait in faith believing that if God brought me to it, He could bring me through it – to the place of victory!
I have come to appreciate the timing of God. He does never come when you want Him, but He IS always right on time! I’m rejoicing today that God is bringing some “suddenlies” to pass in my life this year and I want to encourage you to dust off those dreams, dust off those visions; go back to those who you shared the gospel with, and they rejected it – they just might hear you this year. This is one year we can believe in and “live in “suddenly” moments – at the very least we might begin to walk in an expectancy that will cause us to become adventuresome again!
Walk in the Kairos!
Maria

Great word. My soul waits on God, because I expect “suddenlies” in my life.
I am praying with you Maria on this one. We need a suddenly for this nation to bow before the one and only King of Kings and Lord of Lords and for revival to shake this land for “Righteousness exalts a nation and sin is a reproach to any people.” I definately hear a call for holiness and righteousness but are the people listening?
