Have You Experienced the Shaking Yet?

We are now nearly three months into 2010. Time is racing by! All around us we see a shaking is taking place. Not to diminish the devastation associated with some of the natural disasters our world has experienced, there is a shaking going on in the spiritual realm as well. Those sensitive to the spirit feel it – I know I wrote on this before, but I still can feel the words to David and Nicole Binions’ recording of “Heaven on Earth”:

“Something’s moving, something’s changing, see His Glory, feels like Heaven on Earth…Lighting and thunder, miracles and wonder, sounds of many waters, Heaven on Earth…”

How much like what the prophet Haggai spoke:

6For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;

7And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.Haggai 2:6-7 (KJV)

For those who can receive it, this is a year of shaking – shaking from what was to what was promised – if we can believe it! God has promised to shake both the heavens and the earth, both the sea and the dry land- He has also said He will shake all nations, and that the desire of all nations will come to pass. and His house will be filled with His glory!

I feel that shaking! I feel that desire to be “seated in heavenly places” – I know I’m here on earth, but it is, Just Like Heaven, Just Like Heaven on Earth!” We have heard before that this is the church’s finest hour – I don’t really believe it is yet the church’s finest hour, but I believe we are coming closer – God longs to commune with us – to bring us to His banqueting table – and allow us to feed upon the riches of His House!

I hear the Lord say to “come and dine” – no longer sit at the servant’s table – if you are a blood-bought child of the most High King – you are a citizen of heaven – your geographical location has nothing to do with your inheritance rights! The words of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ hearken us to:

Luke 12:31-33 (King James Version)

31But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.

32Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.e Luke 12:31-32 (KJV)

If you’re waiting for the U.S. economy to turn around to receive your breakthrough, you may be waiting awhile – but in God’s Kingdom – there is always plenty to go around!
