There is None Like Him!

One of the phenomenal things about God is with all of His glory and grandeur and power and might – He still loves us so much that He wants to share with us in His plan and operation. He doesn’t keep secrets, that which He wants to do, He shouts it from the housetops.

God reveals His plans through various means. The first of course is the Word of God itself. God’s word is the revealed word, the roadmap to our past, our present, and our future – the plan you can stake your life upon. God’s word admonishes us in the scripture below:

“Do not forget this! Keep it in mind!
Remember this, you guilty ones.
Remember the things I have done in the past.
For I alone am God!
I am God, and there is none like me.
Only I can tell you the future
before it even happens.
Everything I plan will come to pass,
for I do whatever I wish. Isaiah 46:8-10 (NIV)

God longs to share His plans with His creation, so much so that He lets us know that clearly when He said:

“Indeed, the Sovereign Lord never does anything
until he reveals his plans to his servants the prophets.” Amos 3:7 (NIV)

Therefore we know that God doesn’t keep secrets and those things that He is going to do in the earth realm, He will let us know in advance.

There is another characteristic about God that we need to know – God will not only speak to us in His revealed written Word, He will speak to our spirit. And if that isn’t enough, He will also speak in the mouth of two or three witnesses to assure us that strange though things be, He is with us and He will bring us through each and every situation facing us. If we meditate on these points, we have to come to the conclusion, there is none like Him –

“O Lord, God of Israel, there is no God like you in all of heaven and earth. You keep your covenant and show unfailing love to all who walk before you in wholehearted devotion.”2 Chronicles 6:14 (NIV)

I said all of this to share with you what God placed in my heart today. Some of you will receive this. He said, “You don’t have to take everything that is being dished out to you, you have authority to decree a thing!”

There are things that come upon us that are not part of His plan or design; they are attempts by the enemy to bring us down. We have “power, over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt us, (Luke 10:19). When things come to hurt us, to hinder us from fulfilling the directives God has given us, it is time to arise and decree the plan God has given and not be moved or defeated by the attacks of the enemy!

It is there, in His Word, and even more,

“The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith,”Romans 10:8

This is a message to press on – from the God who loves you.
