It's Bubbling in My Soul!

There’s a song we used to sing in church called, “It’s Bubbling!” and though I can’t bring in the melody, the words go like this:
It’s bubbling, It’s Bubbling, It’s Bubbling in My Soul
I’m Singing, I’m Dancing, Since Jesus Made Me Whole
Folks don’t understand it, I cannot keep it quiet,
It’s Bubbling, Bubbling, Bubbling, Bubbling, Bubbling in My Soul!

It’s a wonderful refrain because it keeps going over and over and by the time you sing it a few times – no matter how you started out, you have to feel better.

There’s another song that my children used to sing in the morning, to begin their day when they went to Christian school:

Good Morning Lord, How Are You?
You’ve been with me from the start
You’ll go with me to the end,
You’re the one that I can count on –
You’re my Almighty Friend!!

Now just reading the words isn’t nearly as much fun as singing them, but I think even by reading them you can see the message –
songs we can live by because in them are eternal truths – that give us hope. Teaching songs of God’s love to our children are so important – becuase the melody will rise in their hearts at unexpected times in unexpected places – to give them – yes – you guessed it – HOPE! And if they get to see a blessing from them, it will build their faith. But that’s not just for children – it’s for all of us!
It is my prayer today that the God of all hope fill you with hope to overflowing – I could say more but if we look at the book of Romans, the prayer is so much better:

“May the God of your hope so fill you with all joy and peace in believing [through the experience of your faith] that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound and be overflowing (bubbling over) with hope.” Romans 15:13 (AMP)
