A GIANT – PACKED WEEK-END!

“In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly.
Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.” Romans 12: 6-10 (NLT)

To conclude this week of looking at people whose simple faith enabled them to not only face giants, but do giant-sized tasks, I want to let you know that this week-end two giants have been loosed! In our contemporary world, people are running away from leadership – they prefer to be a small fish in a big pond, than a big fish in a small pond! It is no wonder, because leadership is put up to a microscope today that few of us can withstand the scrutiny. Yet God is still calling and still commissioning leaders and I am proud to say that two of God’s best have joined with people of like minds and hearts to host events this week-end!

First, none other than my son Jon Jones is coming once again to the ROCC Church along with the rest of Atmosphere of Heaven to usher in the presence of the Holy Spirit in a time of worship that no matter where you start, you will go to a higher place! And then, my daughter Deborah and all my adopted daughters of Chosen Daughters of Destiny, Tonica, Tarcia, and Marquece, have prepared the way for your daughters, your nieces, your granddaughters, your students – to attend “The Walk It Out Project – Part II, on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Chicago Miracle Temple in Chicago Heights for ages 10-24, from noon until 3 p.m. (see below):
