Chosen Daughters of Destiny – The Walk it Out Project

4 “Listen, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord alone.5 And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. 6 And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. 7 Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. 8 Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. 9 Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.” Deuteronomy 6: 4-9 (NLT)

From time to time we will feature organizations that are working to fulfill the beliefs and values that we at HeartLife Ministries consider to be important in this hour. This week we are featuring Chosen Daughters of Destiny, Inc., an organization whose mission is to help young ladies ages 10 through 24 to discover that defining moment in their lives, that will enable them to discover who they are and who they were created to be as they journey to their destiny.

In their own words the leadership of Chosen Daughters state that, “Our number one goal is to prevent young women from making unwise choices. We have been privileged to have experienced both the failure that comes from making bad choices and the wonderful privileges that are associated with making good choices. Our personal testimonies provide for the young women a realistic preview of the challenges they are facing, emphasizing the power of the God who can strengthen them to overcome any and all challenges and bring them to living a victorious life every day! We do not presume to have all the answers and we draw from a network of other professional women and men that have the same passion and the same goals, so we can influence this generation of young women to become all they are meant to be.”

They are excited about their upcoming 2009 Calendar and want all of you to encourage your daughters, sisters, nieces, and granddaughtesr to attend. There will also be Parent Workshops that correspond to the information the girls receive.
