“Beautiful in His Time” January 25, 2009

Every Sunday we will have a guest author to share a word with you. Today’s author is my own oldest daughter, Neesha Maria Stringfellow – enjoy!

“He hath made everything beautiful in his time, also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from beginning to end.” Ecclesiastes 3:11

Time is such a tricky thing, it seems that we never have enough time to complete all of the tasks that we have before us. It also seems as though some of our prayer requests will never be answered, and when they finally are, it seems as if they took forever.

In Ecclesiastes 3:11, it states, “He hath made everything beautiful in his time.”

We are all very familiar with the third chapter of Ecclesiastes, it talks about the seasons and the timing of life. We all need to learn to know that God has not forgotten the petitions that we have set before him, and He also has not forgotten the desires of our hearts. Whether they be great or small, God is the master of them all. By standing on the promises of God’s word, we learn that what he has promised – He is able also to perform.

It is not our timing, it is HIS! We must trust Him to know that His timing is perfect. So the next time the enemy tries to bring discouragement in your life and you feel like time is ticking away, STAND on God’s word, and know that God’s time is the right time and things will turn out beautiful -in His time!

“I know that whatsoever God doeth, it shall be forever; nothing can be put to it, nor anything taken from it; and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.” Ecclesiastes 3:14
